Earlier this year, Parkway Digital submitted some of our favorite work from the last few months to Graphic Design USA’s annual American Web Design Awards. We were lucky enough to claim wins in both 2017 and 2018 and were looking for a three-peat. This year, GDUSA awarded our team two American Web Design Awards for our design and development work with the Buffalo Museum of Science and Cellular Preservation Technologies!
Buffalo Museum of Science
The website we created for the Buffalo Museum of Science is one of our favorites as well. With a major organizational overhaul, our focus was on functionality. The finished site really has it all. Updated plugins and automations help the museum staff work more efficiently. Website visitors looking for exhibits and events are able to find what they’re looking for with just a click or two.
Winning awards is always an exciting experience but we love the cold hard data too. Users spend an average of 30 seconds longer on the new website. They visit 6% more pages, which led to a 12% reduction in bounce rate. With the most important information presented front and center, we know users are finding what they need – and that makes us happy!
Cellular Preservation Technologies
Cellular Preservation Technologies offered us the opportunity to refresh their digital footprint. The team at CPT wanted to focus on the patients they help each and every day. We helped humanize their brand by showcasing those important interactions. Updated imagery and an uncomplicated layout allowed their life-saving technology to shine through. We also gave their logo a quick facelift and used the new visual identity throughout the site with modern overlays and gradients.
